Travelers to Negros Oriental will no longer need to show an SPASS (Safe, Swift and Smart Passage) effective Saturday, October 23.
However, negative RT-PCR test results valid for 72 hours will be required if a traveler is unvaccinated, a post on the Negros Oriental Facebook page said.
Negative antigen test results valid for 48 hours will be required if a traveler is vaccinated, it added.
Governor Roel Degamo is expected to issue an executive order to this effect, and all airlines, sea and land transport companies have to follow the guidelines, the post said.*
