Negros Occidental 6th wealthiest province in country: COA

Negros Occidental is the sixth wealthiest province in the country, a recent Commission on Audit annual financial report showed.

The COA report released December 22 said Negros Occidental was ranked the sixth richest province in the country in 2020 with total assets of ₱17.170 billion.

Cebu remained the richest province with total assets of ₱213.005 billion, followed by Batangas – ₱25.236 billion, Rizal – ₱23.053 billion, Davao de Oro – ₱20.891 billion;

Bukidnon – ₱18.557 billion, Negros Occidental, Isabela – ₱16.614 billion, Surigao del Norte – ₱15.787 billion, Palawan – ₱15.737 billion, and Iloilo – ₱14.837 billion.*
