
The Negros Occidental provincial government and its 12 cities and 18 towns are 2024 Good Financial Housekeeping passers, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced on Tuesday, March 4.
“Congratulations to the provincial government of Negros Occidental and its component cities and municipalities for achieving the FY 2024 Good Financial Housekeeping distinction,” the DILG Negros Occidental announced on its Facebook page.
“Your unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and financial excellence sets a remarkable standard in local governance,” it added.
The 12 cities are Bago, Cadiz, Escalante, Himamaylan, Kabankalan, La Carlota, Sagay, San Carlos, Silay, Sipalay, Talisay and Victorias, the DILG said.
The 18 municipalities are Binalbagan, Calatrava, Candoni, Cauayan, EB Magalona, Hinigaran, Ilog, Isabela, La Castellana, Manapla, Moises Padilla, Murcia, Pontevedra, Pulupandan, San Enrique, Toboso, Valladolid and Salvador Benedicto.*
