MSMEs receive tools, equipment from Capitol

The Negros Occidental provincial government through the Technology and Livelihood Development Center (TLDC) distributed tools and equipment to 18 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from the eight local government units (LGUs) of the province.

Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz led the ceremonial distribution of the projects, held at the Capitol Grounds in Bacolod City, Thursday, February 3, a press release from the Capitol said.

The project aims to strengthen the MSMEs, as the provincial government acknowledges its contribution to the province’s socio-economic development and employment generation, it said.

Among the tools and equipment distributed were chest freezer, gas range, coffee maker, refrigerator, stainless steel table with sink, cake chiller, industrial burner, price computing price machine, dehydrator aluminum steamer, air fryer, deep fryer, blender, pressure cooker, and other kitchen tools.

The projects were received by the MSME representatives, in the presence of the respective TLDC Coordinators, TLDC Provincial Program Manager, Gerard Tupas and Dr. Sharon Juance.

Zone 12A Women’s Association (Talisay), Hacienderos Agrarian Reform Coop (Bago), Sta. Rita Farmers MPC (Bago), Brgy. Don Jorge L. Araneta ARC (Bago), JA and R Food Products RIC (Bago), Brgy. Ara-al Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association, (La Carlota) Hda. Esperanza Communal ARB Assn. (La Carlota), Brgy. Dos Vendors Association (La Carlota), 4H AIYFAWA (Hinigaran), and Brgy.
