A laborer sustained multiple injuries after three persons, including a minor, mauled and stabbed him in Purok Balogo, Brgy. 4, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, Thursday, August 8.
Mark Tolosa, 42, a laborer and a resident of Purok Balogo, was attacked during a drinking session, the police said.
The suspects Reynaldo Nepal, 45, barangay tanod Edmund Nepal, 39, and a 17-year-old male are also residents of Purok Balogo, the police said.
The police said while the victim was drinking with his friends, the suspects arrived and suddenly attacked him.
One of the suspects stabbed him in the left leg while the others struck the victim with a piece of wood and a stone on the head, the police reported.
The victim was brought to the Ignacio Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Isabela town while the suspects fled.*
