A motorcycle driver died while his backrider was injured after they accidentally collided with an SUV along the Lacson-Luzuriaga intersection in Brgy. 17, Bacolod City, Tuesday night, Feb. 18.
The victims were unidentified, while the driver of the Nissan Patrol SUV was identified as alias “Panoy” of Brgy. 36, Bacolod, the police said.
The SUV was travelling from north to south, while the motorcycle was travelling from west to east when they collided at the intersection.
PMaj. Ramel Sarona, Bacolod City Police Office- Traffic Management Unit head, said they are calling on the families of victims to come forward and identify them.
The driver of the SUV is detained at the Bacolod City Police Station 1.*
