A motorcycle driver died while his backrider was injured after a road crash in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday afternoon, April 5.
Police identified the victim as alias “Ernan,” 40, while his live-in partner, alias “Armida,” was injured.
Investigation showed the motorcycle was heading north when the driver allegedly lost control and crashed into a roadside post in Brgy. Guadalupe.
Both victims sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital.
However, the driver was declared dead by the attending physician.
Police said initial findings indicate the driver had been drinking prior to the incident.*
