An advocate of sustainable tourism is vying for the Miss Bacolod MassKara crown.
Ma. Ericka Panganiban, a junior Tourism Management student at VMA Global College, aims to bring her advocacy on sustainable tourism through modern ways to the pageant stage.
Panganiban said as a tourism student, she can promote Bacolod as a super city through its culture.
“I can promote Bacolod not only because it is industrialized but also because of its vibrant culture and bright smiles of the Bacolodnons that we can show to the world,” she said.
“It is really important to promote tourism as it can give hundreds of jobs for the Bacolodnons,” she added.
Panganiban is one of the 15 candidates vying for the Miss Bacolod MassKara 2023 crown at the University of Saint La Salle Coliseum on October 16.*
