Mayor: Leisure travel to Panay, mass gatherings still prohibited

Leisure travel between Panay and Bacolod remains prohibited until September 30.

This was stated by Mayor Evelio Leonardia in Executive Order 46, Series of 2021, extending the General Community Quarantine with Heightened Restrictions (GCQ-HR) in Bacolod City to September 30 in line with the decision of the National Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Under GCQ-HR curfew will remain from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., mass gatherings are prohibited, and wakes and religious gatherings are limited to 10 percent of the venue capacity.

Dine-in restaurants are allowed to only accommodate 20 percent of their venue capacity and for outdoor dining – 30 percent.

Recreational venues are prohibited and personal care services are allowed to operate at only 30 percent of venue capacity.

Inbound air and sea travellers must present negative RT-PCR results obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival.

The sale of liquor is allowed from noon to 6 p.m., but public consumption is prohibited.

Any person below 18 and those over 65 years old , those with immunodeficiency, comorbidity and other health risks regardless of age, and pregnant women are required to stay home except for obtaining essential goods and services, or for work.*
