The construction of the P350 million Bacolod City College activity center, business education building, information systems building, improvement of other existing structures and site development is underway in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia inspected the ongoing construction of the Bacolod City College Site Development and Facilities Project together with ESJ Construction secretary Rose Muños Saturday, March 5.
Leonardia also conferred with the 300-strong workers as they continue to build the activity center that is slated to be completed by the end of the month, a press release from the Bacolod City Public Information Office said.
“This is one of the most difficult activity centers to construct. Everybody can see that amount of work that you’ve put into this project,” he said.
“But you’re not just constructing an activity center, this is also a part of our city’s vision to provide quality education for all,” Leonardia added.
The mayor also added that he feels “fulfilled and rewarded” whenever he meets a product of the BCC.*
