Mayor Raymund Tongson said his birthday wish is for peaceful Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in Himamaylan City on Monday, October 30.
“I am calling all my colleagues in the service to ensure the peaceful and undisturbed campaign period up until the day of the polls,” Tongson said.
The BSKE is a time for the adults and senior elected officials to serve as good role models to the youth SK candidates and voters, he said.
“This is our chance to become good examples to our future leaders,” the mayor said.
Tongson celebrated his 50th birthday on October 20.*
