The Facebook page of the MassKara Festival in Bacolod City has been hacked.
Sexually explicit scenes from what appears to be Japanese movies were posted on its wall on Monday and Tuesday, August 7 and 8, prompting the Bacolod Public Information Office to issue a statement that it had been hacked.
“The Masskara Festival page has been hacked and the MassKara Festival FB page team is working to resolve the issue asap with Meta,” it said.
“The public is advised to temporarily refrain from engaging with the page or performing its Messenger account,” it added.
The MassKara Festival Facebook page has 90,000 followers.*
