The One Negros Ecumenical Council is set to launch a massive awareness campaign on Charter Change 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, San Carlos Bishop Gerardo Alminaza, ONE-C chairperson, said.
The launching will be held at the St. Joseph the Worker Parish Church of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) in Bacolod City.
It is being held to “firm-up our prophetic and collective responses as Christians and Church People, and unite with all the conscientious people in advocating for alternative measures rooted in justice and compassion”, Alminaza said.
Invited speakers at the press conference and launch are former Bayan Rep. Neri Colmenares and former Negros Occidental governor Rafael Coscolluela with ONE-C leaders as panelists.*
