A woman wanted for estafa was arrested by the Highway Patrol Group in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday, November 23.
The operation was conducted by the Regional Highway Patrol Unit–Negros Island Region and the PHPT South Negros Occidental.
The police arrested a 43-year-old woman known as “Ging” along Repullo Street in Brgy. 2.
The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant for violation of Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code, with a recommended bail placed at P18,000.
The woman is now detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station.*
