A 33-year-old man was found dead floating in a river in Murcia, Negros Occidental, on Sunday morning, April 12.
Police said the victim, a resident of Brgy. Damsite, was found about 100 meters away from his house.
His mother said he left their home at noon on April 11 and did not return.
She said her son was suffering from epilepsy.
Authorities said the victim was later found lifeless in the river at around 8 a.m. the following day.
He was rushed to a health unit but was declared dead by the attending physician.*
