A man died after he was allegedly stabbed by a suspect during a drinking session in Sitio Lantoy, Brgy. Tara, Mabinay, Negros Oriental on Saturday night, May 9.
Police investigation showed the victim was passing by a store on board his motorcycle when he was allegedly invited by the suspect, who was drinking with several individuals in the area.
Moments later, the suspect reportedly approached the victim and stabbed him on the right side of his body for still unknown reasons.
The victim was rushed to the Mabinay Medicare Community Hospital for treatment but was declared dead l by the attending physician.
Authorities have launched a hot pursuit operation for the arrest of the suspect.*
