A 35-year-old man was shot dead by an unidentified suspect in San Juan Tunga, Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, Sunday, March 8.
The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head around 7:12 p.m., the police said.
A concerned citizen alerted the San Carlos City Police Station about the shooting incident.
Police said the victim was found lying on the ground with a visible gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was rushed to the San Carlos City Hospital where he was declared dead.
Investigation based on nearby CCTV footage showed the victim was walking through an alley when the suspect, who was already waiting in the area, suddenly shot him.
Police said the suspect fired at the back of the victim’s head before fleeing the scene.*
