A man was hacked to death at Sitio Lower Lunay, Brgy Mabini in Escalante City, Negros Occidental, on Monday, November 21.
Killed was 25-year-old Marvin Garcia.
The victim and the suspect identified as 48-year-old Ricardo Caneiso attended a birthday party with their friends.
Following a drinking session, the victim left to go home, but he was tailed by the suspect and was hacked several times.
The victim succumbed to multiple hacked wounds on his head and arm. He died instantly.
The suspect remains at large.*
