The man who was found dead in Brgy. Igmaya-an, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, was identified by the police on Monday, March 11.
He was identified as Allen Palmos, 29, of Fortune Towne, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City.
The victim was positively identified by his sibling through a tattoo on his body, Lt. Ignacio Javier, Don Salvador Benedicto deputy police chief, said.
The victim had previously been imprisoned for illegal drugs possession, the police said.
The victim’s hands were tied at his back using a cable tie and the tattoo on his back read: “Cmdr Jok2x Baldomar”, the police said.
The police said that the victim left his residence on Thursday and never returned.*
