Mag-aso Falls re-opens

After more than one year, Mag-aso Falls in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental is now open for guests and travelers again.

Mayor Pedro Zayco Jr. and Vice Mayor Raul Rivera led the re-opening of the tourism facility on Friday, December 3.

The city-operated resort located in Brgy. Oringao has been renovated by the local government as part of its tourism attractions.

It now offers a multi-purpose hall that can seat 70 persons and new cottages.

The facility offers a very relaxing ambiance with the cool falls and a swimming pool.

Zayco said the re-opening of Mag-aso Falls is expected to boost local tourism and spur the economy.

Former mayor Isidro Zayco and National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Commissioner Jorge Largado also graced the activity.*
