A driver died and his passenger was injured after their motorcycle hit a steel post in Brgy. Binicuil, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Monday, March 10.
Jerald Salibio of Sitio Utod, Brgy. Poblacion, San Enrique, died, while his backrider, Jomar Zara, 28, was injured.
They were on their way to the Mag-aso Falls in Kabankalan, however, the motorcycle went off the road causing them to hit a steel post, the police said.
The victims were not wearing helmets and the incident was self-inflicted, the police added.*
