Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia inducted the officers of the Negros Press Club for 2021-2022 into office at the Negros Press Club building in Bacolod city today, March 1.
The officers are Yves Montecillo – president, Eljohn Castaño – vice president, Nanette Guadalquiver -secretary, Eden Aboso -treasurer, Martian Earl Muyco -auditor; Merlinda Pedrosa, Renato Duran, Carla Cañet, and James Henry Toga—board of directors, and Glazy Masculino—ex-officio.
The new officers were elected on January 23 and officially start their terms today.
Leonardia is also a former president of the Negros Press Club, the oldest press club in the country, founded in 1936.*
