Curfew in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, will be suspended for two days to allow residents to observe Christmas and New Year’s eve traditions.
Mayor Pedro Zayco, in Executive Order 54-2020, cancelled curfew in Kabankalan on December 24 and 31.
However, he said the liquor ban in the city will remain in place.
Zayco stressed the need for the continued observance of COVID-19 health protocols during the holidays.
Kabankalan, as of today, December 23, had 13 active COVID-19 cases, its City Health Office reported.
There have been 512 persons hit by the virus in Kabankalan, 492 of whom have recovered and seven have died, the CHO added.*
