“I am determined to prioritize the improvement of the Bacolod-Silay Airport’s infrastructure,”
Victorias City Mayor Javier Miguel “Javi” Benitez said on Thursday, Dec. 5.
Benitez, who is running for representative of the 3rd District of Negros Occidental, said he will prioritize the improvement of the airport through government funding or collaboration with the private sector.
“I will work to ensure that our airport becomes a world-class gateway” he said.
“This initiative is not only for the benefit of our district but for the entire province of Negros Occidental. A modernized airport will enhance connectivity, drive economic growth, attract investments, and support our tourism industry, ultimately improving the lives of all Negrosanons,” Benitez said.*
