The police arrested three high-value drug personalities, including a member of a drug group, and seized shabu worth P442,000 in two towns and a city in Negros Occidental on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
The police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit arrested alias “Pol”, 27, a member of the Bugalon Criminal Gang, at Lirazan Street, Brgy. 3, Kabankalan City.
Recovered from the suspect were 18 grams of suspected shabu valued at P122,400, the police said.
Alias “Jay-r”, 34, a fish supplier and resident of Sitio Banquerohan, Brgy. Punta Mesa, Manapla, was also arrested by Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Neg. Occ. operatives.
Seized from him were 22 grams of suspected shabu with estimated street drug price of P149,600, the police said.
Alias “Nilda”, 63, was also arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Carmen, Brgy. Miranda, Pontevedra.
Recovered from her was shabu weighing 25 grams valued at P170,000, the police said.
All suspects are now in police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
