An insurance company employee was shot dead by an unidentified suspect at Sitio Sumulog, Brgy. Bulwangan, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The police said Jonathan Yap, 48, was shot by an unidentified suspect while driving to work, Maj. Ryan Villasario, San Carlos City Police Deputy Chief, said.
Initially it was only reported to the police as a vehicular accident until they discovered a gunshot on the victim’s head.
The police said that the motive of the incident might be related to the work of the victim, but they are still conducting an investigation.*
