The police conducted a two-day training and seminar for 22 members Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPAT) in Brgy. 2, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, January 18.
The Hinoba-an Police Station in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection-Hinoba-an, Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and barangay officials trained the tanods to ensure peace and security in the town, a press release from Police Regional Office-6 said on Saturday.
The 22 tanods who finished the training received food packs and uniforms.
The police said that BPATs are essential in promoting security in partnership with various agencies that ensure peace and order in Hinoba-an.*
