A 74-year-old farmer was found lifeless at the bottom of a hill in Purok 7, Brgy. Asia, Hinoba-an, Wednesday, July 8.
Police said alias “Sansan” went to a mountainous area at around 3 p.m. Tuesday to feed his cow but failed to return home.
His son went looking for him and discovered his body at around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Initial examination showed no visible external injuries or indications of foul play.
Police said the victim had reportedly been suffering from a lingering illness before his death.
The family said it did not suspect foul play and no longer wanted an autopsy.*
