No guests are allowed at the Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary in Murcia, Negros Occidental, due to ongoing rehabilitation work, Provincial Legal Officer Alberto Nellas Jr. said Tuesday, February 15.
Nellas directed Provincial Tourism Officer Cheryl Decena and Renelo Lastierre, safety and security division head, to close the resort to the general public and to bar admission of guests while rehabilitation work is underway.
He also ordered them to evict or bar entry of persons with no admission ticket or contract to stay at the resort.*
