A 57-year-old grandmother was found dead on Sunday, September 17, after being swept away by strong current in a river at Hacienda Agustin, Brgy. Bagroy, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Semme Olveros, 57, of Sitio Agbalangao, Brgy. Amontay, Binalbagan, was found floating in a river.
Olveros , her child, and her grandson were crossing the river in Sitio Kabalantianan in Barangay Bagroy when she was swept by the current due to flooding on Friday, the police reported.
Her child and grandson survived the incident.*
