Globe’s mobile services are back in Negros Island enabling call, text and data for its customers.
Negros Occidental is now fully restored, while 21 municipalities in Negros Oriental are back up, a press release from the firm said Thursday, December 30.
In Cebu, mobile network services in most cities and municipalities have also been restored. Tower on Wheels were deployed to provide back-up connectivity while restoration efforts are ongoing.
And in Palawan, three new municipalities namely Araceli, Dumaran and San Vicente were added to the restored list.
Globe’s field teams are working round the clock to bring communications facilities back up following the devastation caused by Typhoon Odette. More towns are seeing significant progress in repairs, the press release said.*
