Retail investors in Negros can now participate in Arthaland Corporation’s (ALCO) Series G and Series H preferred share offering directly through GStocks PH via the GCash app.
Offered by broker AB Capital Securities Inc., the shares are priced at ₱500 each. The Series G shares (ALCPG) offer a dividend rate of 7.3260 percent per annum, while the Series H shares (ALCPH) carry a dividend rate of 7.8105 percent per annum, subject to the terms and conditions of the issue.
Preferred shares generally pay fixed dividends and grant holders priority over common shareholders when distributions are made, a press statement from GCash said Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The offer period runs from September 14 to 25.
The integration aims to simplify participation in corporate share issuances by addressing historical friction points in retail stock trading, such as requiring physical broker coordination and separate bank accounts.
Through GStocks PH’s fully digital subscription feature, investors can track available broker-allotted shares in real time using a built-in subscription meter. Users can secure share allocations at the time of subscription rather than waiting for the offer period to close.
In the event of oversubscription after the broker’s initial tranche is fully availed, orders can still be submitted, with final allocation results delivered post-offer period.
