Former Bilibid Prison inmate killed in Silay

A drug personality, who was recently released from the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, 5:40 p.m. today, February 9, the city police chief said.

Killed was Ronald Suating, Maj. Rollie Pondevilla, Silay Police chief, said.

He said Suating was having a snack in front of the house of his girlfriend at Barangay Mambulac when two persons on board a motorcycle approached.

The back rider then shot Suating on the head and other parts of his body, Pondevilla said.

Suating was imprisoned at the national penitentiary for drugs and was on the Silay drug watchlist, Pondevilla said.

He was also an alleged ally of Michael Divinagracia, who was a suspected drug lord, Pondevilla added.*
