A fisherman was stabbed with a gaff at a drinking session at Purok Mainuswagon, Brgy. Zone-1, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental, on Wednesday, August 14.
The police said alias “Jessie”, 46, a fisherman, was injured after alias “Ollan”, 24, stabbed him.
The victim and his friends were having a drinking session at his house when the suspect arrived.
The suspect confronted the victim for allegedly backstabbing him resulting in a commotion but they were pacified by their relatives.
However, the suspect later returned with a gaff and stabbed the victim on his lower back.
The victim was brought to the Pulupundan Rural Health Unit, while the suspect fled.*
