A fisherman who had gone missing on Wednesday, January 19, was found lifeless in the waters of Guimaras province on Friday, January 21.
The body of Glen Paulite of Pontevedra town, Negros Occidental was caught in a fishnet of another fisherman.
Paulite ventured out to sea but the strong current capsized his pumpboat, Lt. Rowell Peniero, Pontevedra police public information officer, said.
Personnel of the Pontevedra and Hinigaran police stations helped retrieved the body of the victim.*
