A fire destroyed 13 houses and damaged five in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City, at about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 1.
The fire that hit the houses at Bagong Dalan, Purok San Jose 2, is believed to have been triggered when a plug attached to an extension wire outlet busted, F02 Anthony Val Isansa, Fire Arson Investigator, said Wednesday.
The fire left 21 families with 91 individuals homeless, Bacolod Social Welfare Officer Richelle Verdeprado said.*
