Fire personnel are still investigating the cause of the fire that destroyed an ancestral home at Purok Sampaguita 3, Brgy. Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, at about 9:33 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The ancestral home of Ma. Cecilia Javelona was estimated to cost P1.35 million, the Bureau of Fire Protection- Bacolod reported on Wednesday.
Fire respondents arrived at the scene at about 9:37 p.m. and declared the fire out at 9:50 p.m., the BFP said.*
