Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer was designated acting governor of Negros Occidental effective Thursday, Nov. 30.
Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko was also designated acting vice governor.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, in Executive Order 23-42, Series of 2023, designated Ferrer and Ko acting governor and vice governor from Thursday to Sunday, Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, while he is Indonesia, and on Dec. 8 to 11 for personal reasons.
They were designated to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of basic services, Lacson said.*
