The police recovered improvised explosive device components buried in Sitio Carima, Brgy. Talalak, Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental, on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Recovered were detonating cords, main charges, blasting caps and one 9-volt battery, the 705th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-Central Visayas reported.
The recovered IED components were brought to the 705th MV headquarters and will be turned over to the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office- Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit for safety procedures.*
