The E. B. Magalona police destroyed 72 illegal ear-splitting modified exhaust pipes confiscated from motorbike riders in the municipality and from those passing through the town on Monday, February 20.
Maj. Kenneth Jay Gratones, EB Magalona police chief, said the illegal exhaust pipes were seized from motorbike riders in the past three weeks.
Witnessing the activity held in front of the Municipal Hall were the town officials led by Mayor Marvin Malacon.
Malacon also turned over 44 new pairs of PNP patrol shoes to Gratones for the use of the town’s policemen.
Gratones assured Malacon and the town officials that the police will work harder in maintaining peace and order in the municipality, and go the extra mile in delivering public service to Saraviahanons.*
