A truck driver and his passenger were killed after they were electrocuted in Barangay Cabahug, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, November 24.
Killed were driver Eddie Dejito, 49, of Hda. Caridad, Brgy. Rafaela Barrera, Sagay City, and helper Ronnie Antojado, 26, of Brgy. Balintawak, Escalante City.
The truck of the victims loaded with sugarcane hit the electric pole that was lying on the side of the road, a police report said.
When they touched the pole they were electrocuted.
Both were dead on arrival at a hospital.*
