The dead man who was found in Brgy. Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, Feb. 6, has been identified.
The victim was identified as Vincent Gemotia, 29, of Ajuy, Iloilo, and temporarily residing in Himamaylan City, Neg. Occ., the police reported on Sunday.
Lt. Arnolfo Roble, Moises Padilla Deputy Police Chief, said that the parents of the victim went to the police station and identified him.
The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a sugarcane farm in Brgy. Quintin Remo and was believed to be dead for about five days already.*
