The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board has increased the daily minimum wage and salaries of domestic workers in Western Visayas effective November 16.
Wage Order No. 27 provides a P30 increase in the daily minimum wage in Region VI (Western Visayas).
Effective November 16 the daily minimum wage rates in the region will be P480 for non agriculture/ industrial/ commercial establishments with more than 10 workers, P450 for those establishments with 10 workers or less, and P440 for workers in agriculture, the Department of Labor and Employment 6 announced.
Meanwhile, Wage Order DW – 05 provides a monthly increase of P500 for Domestic workers or 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘴 in Region VI, bringing the monthly wage rate of domestic from P4,500 to P5,000.*
