A cemetery maintenance worker was arrested after P442,000 in suspected shabu was seized from him in Purok Goopio in Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City, 2:47 a.m. Friday, January 26, the police said.
Arrested was Dennis Ian Cardeñas, 33, a high-value target and a freelance cemetery maintenance worker, the police reported.
The police recovered from him three heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing 65 grams.
Non-drug evidence and buy-bust money were also seized from Cardeñas.
The operation was led by the City Drug Enforcement Unit and the suspect is now under the custody of the police.*
