City Drug Enforcement Unit operatives arrested two persons and seized suspected shabu worth P578,000 in a buy-bust operation at Sulom Dos, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City, on Monday, Sept. 2.
The two arrested persons, whose names were withheld by the police, were caught selling the suspected shabu to a poseur buyer.
The police confiscated from them nine sachets of shabu weighing 85 grams, paper bills, a canister, and weighing scale.
The suspects are now under the custody of the police and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
