
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) and Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) officials paid separate New Year calls on Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, where they discussed security measures and plans for 2025.
The BCPO officials met with Benitez at the Mayor’s Office at the Bacolod City Government Center where they discussed their accomplishments in the anti-illegal drugs campaign and the possible allocation of funds to establish new police stations in Bacolod.
The police said that these additional police stations would further enhance peace and order in Bacolod.
The NOCPPO officials met with Lacson at the Social Hall of the provincial Capitol in Bacolod where they presented a year-end report.
The report included a detailed analysis of the peace and order status of the province, key accomplishments, operational initiatives, security measures implemented by the NOCPPO, the crime situation, law enforcement strategies, and the overall safety and security environment in Negros Occidental.*
