The Civil Service Commission approved the Collective Negotiation Agreement of the Negros Occidental provincial government and Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees, which gives additional three days of Special Leave Privileges to all the employees.

In a memorandum signed by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, it states that the CSC has approved the additional three days to the existing three days SLP of the Capitol employees, stipulated by the CNA entered by the province and PACE.

With this, all provincial government employees will have a total of six days SLP that can be used for accidents, birthdays, business transactions with other agencies, enrolment, graduation, hospitalization, mourning, relocation, weddings, and wedding anniversaries.

The additional SLP took effect Jan. 23, 2024 and will last until Jan. 22, 2027.

The memorandum also stated that to avail of SLP, employees should file an application for leave approved by their respective heads before or upon return to duty.*
