Forty-six housing units at the Yuhum Village in Brgy. Vista Alegre will be turned over by the Bacolod City government and Pag-IBIG 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.

One of the 24 housing buildings at the Arao Yuhum Village in Barangay Vista Alegre has been completed.

The city government through the Bacolod Housing Authority will start awarding 46 of 64 units in the building to the beneficiaries.

There are 18 beneficiaries waiting for final approval from Pag-ibig for their units.

The housing beneficiaries will have a P2,194 monthly amortization plan for the 24-square meter housing unit for 30 years.

The housing program is part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s 4PH housing program, which was first implemented in Bacolod.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, along with Bacolod Housing Authority Head Victoria Parreñas, met with Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) VI Regional Director Eva Marfil and Pag-IBIG representative Kenneth Macoy on Friday to finalize the details for the turnover.

This event marks a significant milestone in the city’s 4PH housing initiative, highlighting the strong collaboration between the local and national governments in addressing the housing needs of Bacolod residents, a press release from the city government said.*
