Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) received the Gold Award for fulfilling the deliverables of the 2022 Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) 2.0 Clustering Program organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.
The award was given in recognition of the institution’s efforts to provide clients the required number of Intellectual Property (IP) capacity-building activities, provide patent research services, and draft and file at least six invention patents in 2022, a press release from CHMSU said.
CHMSU Director for Intellectual Property Management Armando R. Reosura received the award on behalf of the university during the 2023 ITSO Presidents’ Summit held at the Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay on March 28, 2023.
Reosura also presented the university’s best practices in prosecuting IP applications and received a Certificate of Commendation for his invaluable contribution and readiness in assisting inventors and innovators in protecting their intellectual property assets.*
