The University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City can now conduct limited face-to-face classes for Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Medicine students.
The Commission on Higher Education has issued a certificate of authority to USLS after it complied with the requirements of the CHED and Department of Health under the Joint Memorandum Circular, effective from November 5, 2021 to August 22, 2022, CHED Regional Director Maura Consolacion Cristobal said.
USLS President Kenneth Martinez also confirmed that the university will be holding limited face-to-face classes for its nursing and doctor students.
Ricky Gallaga, USLS College of Medicine dean, said the face-to-face classes are necessary for their students to see patients and be exposed to hospitals.*
